Salt Lake City (Riverton): Mondays @ 6-7a - done until 2020

South County Pool (12765 S 1125 W, Riverton, UT 84065)

Part of the BAM Summer Swim Series. Mondays are technique sessions for beginner and intermediate swimmers.

Salt Lake City (Kearns/West Valley): Tuesdays 715-815a - done for the season, resume appx Jan 2020

Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center - 50m Indoor Pool (5624 Cougar Ln, Salt Lake City, UT 84118 - directions)

Coaches will be on deck for pointers and tips. Lanes range from former D1 swimmers to beginners, and workouts are adapted for each lane. As this swim follows the weekly track session (545-7a at the Olympic Oval which is the building adjacent to KOPFC), it is an easier swim focused on recovery after the run. You are welcome to come to this swim even if you aren’t at track. Either way, position this swim as one of your lighter swims for the week.

Free. Thanks to our sponsors, we’ve got lane rental covered. Let the front desk know you are there to swim with Intermountain Tri/BAM and you’ll be let in.

Davis County (Bountiful): Tuesdays & Fridays @ 5-7a, year round

South Davis Rec Center at 550 North 200 West Bountiful, Utah 84010

These group swims are led by Intermountain Tri mentor Nate Cook. You can arrive at 5a and get the full workout (about 5,000 yards) or at 6a for a shorter session. Nate prints both the long and short workout so you can join the group or start when you arrive. Look for him on the pool deck with an IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside bag! Nate's schedule may vary and we can't keep it current here, so we recommend reaching out to him before you go.

You will need to pay to access the facility. Click here for SDRC's single-day and membership pricing.

If you have any questions, contact Nate!
